FAQs

We, at Priveel Peptides provide a high quality custom peptide and peptide modifications to high throughput peptide library and array synthesis. At Priveel peptides, custom synthesized peptides are under strict quality control processes. MS and HPLC analyses are performed for all custom peptides. QC (quality control) and QA (quality assurance) procedures are also followed independently to offer you double guarantee
for the highest quality possible of every delivered peptide.

Priveel peptides typically synthesize peptides in the 2-1000 mg range.
Specific scales are available on demand.

The delivery of the finished product shall be 3-4 Weeks for a standard peptide below 30 amino acids. This time may vary depending on peptide modification, purification and complexity of the peptide.

If you work in tissue culture; ligand for purification of affinity; experiments to block non-quantitative antibodies; 80% or higher is required.
If you are interested in bioassays; electrophoresis markers; monoclonal anticorps; in vivo studies; 90 % or more is required.
In case you are involved in ELISA; RIA; enzyme substratum; 95 % or more is required.
If you work in NMR; chromatographic standards; 98 % is required.

Use gloves during work to prevent contamination.
As most peptides are light-sensitive, protect it from sunlight.
Prevent repeated cycles of freezing-thaw.

Peptides are shipped as lyophilized powders, unless otherwise specified.

Lyophilised peptides are stable at room temperature for weeks to months,  provided that it is stored away from heat, light and moisture and maintained at -20 °C.
Do not store peptides in solution for more than few days.
Peptide solutions must be frozen and stored frozen for maximum stability.
Avoid repeated Freeze-thaw cycling, to prevent peptide degradation.

Peptides are synthesized from the C-terminal to the N-terminal.

Priveel Peptides can synthesize peptides from 2 amino acids up to 200 amino acids.

QC report included with each delivered product contains HPLC profile, Mass Spectrometry and Synthesis Report.
NMR, IR, UV, Elemental Analysis, Water Content and Amino Acid Analysis data will be available upon special request.

Some common modification include:
N-terminal amino group
C-terminal carboxy group
e-Amino group on lysine
Hydroxyl group on serine, threonine and tyrosine
Guanidine group on arginine
Thiol group on cysteine
Apart from this Priveel Petides offer more than 500 N- and C-terminal and internal peptide modifications.
Please refer Peptide services in website to know more.

Yes. We provide Insilico services.

Insilico services includes:
Selection of peptide
Designing of peptide
Target study
Peptide library
Peptide screening study
Validtion Study.
Upon request specific services can also be done.

Peptide library is creating a library of peptides by screening the restricted peptide to identify and design the peptide with efficient bio activity.

We create Peptide library using DESIGN TOOLS such as:
Alanine scanning
Positional scanning
Combinatorial 2-Positional scanning
Combinatorial 3-Positional scanning
Overlapping
Scrambled
Truncated
T-cell truncation
Upon request we can create library using specific design tools.

Depend on your research work you can choose which design tool is required,
since each tool has its own significnace.

Alanine scanning : Identify importance of each amino acid in sequence.
Positional scanning : Identify A.A that enhance the peptide activity & T cell epitope. Provide 20 different combination of sequences.
Combinatorial 2-Positional scanning : Identify A.A that enhance the peptide activity & T cell epitope. Provide 400 different combination of sequences.
Combinatorial 3-Positional scanning : Identify A.A that enhance the peptide activity & T cell epitope. Provide 800 different combination of sequences.
Overlapping : Identify a T-cell epitope
Scrambled : Identify new leads by random screening & Used as negative controls
Truncated : Identify shortest A.A sequence needed for activity & identify peptides with enhanced proteolytic property.
T-cell truncation : Test all possible T-cell epitopes across a protein of interest.

Peptide screening is performed to come up with hits of novel peptides from a lead peptide that bind to the target protein.

Main purpose of validation study is:
To check the stability of peptide
To check the stability of peptide with target protein.
